About Department

The department of Applied Sciences and Humanities came into existence on 27th August, 2008. The Department offers courses in English, Technical Communication, Communicative English, Engineering Mathematics, Engineering Physics & Engineering Chemistry. The course in English offered in the first semester is common to all the ranches o engineering. The objective of the course in English is to enhance the language skills o the students not only for academic and professional purposes but also for real life situations. With the setting up of a language lab, emphasis will be laid on spoken English generating sufficient time and space necessary to make a confident speaker. Apart from the communication Lab. Department has fully equipped Chemistry Lab. The chemistry lab gives the complete knowledge of the elements of the chemistry. Student are made to perform the practical in the guidance of the teachers and the environment of the lab is so soothing that students can easily ask his queries to his teacher. The Department of Applied Science has a fully equipped physics lab which makes students to understand the basic elements of the physics. Physics lab clears all the queries related to the instruments.
